BSR The Hurt Locker

Brief screen report
At time 1:57:00 has to be the most important part of the Hurt locker. It gives you the reason why the characters are there and what might happen later. They have just finished their last bomb defusing as a team they will face. The question is why Jason is there in the first place. He has a kid and a family how can he be there and take the risks and leave his family alone. Sanborn can’t take it anymore and will not come back to all that sand. Sanborn simply ask why does Jason keeping coming back. Jason has no clue why he keeps coming back. He asks Sanborn if he knows why he Jason keeps coming back. Than everything goes silent and the next scene is Jason back state side. This shows that Sanborn will not be going back and that the only person left in the bomb removal squad is Jason. The scene before depicts the death of a man forced into being a suicide bomber and really moves Sanborn into thinking about what may happen. He wants to live a quiet and family man life he has done his time and that is final. Jason is depicted as a man on the edge and just can’t get enough of it. This since also depicts that people sacrifice a lot of things to serve their country but there are others that just can’t get enough of it. Jason and Sanborn also have scares on their faces as well. This shows how beat up they both are and that everyone has scares from the things they see.

Journal #6 Star Trek

Let us hope that this sequel of the new sets of Star Trek is just as exciting as the first movie. In the teasers for the movie it shows destruction and chaos giving you a little view into what may happen. Is this just another end of the world movie i guess we will just have to wait. The hype for this movie is high considering how the first movie came into theaters this could be one of the great movies of next year or it could be a major flop. The movies fate rest on a blade of a knife it could be great or it could not be very good we will have to wait until the movie comes out and sit back and watch.

Journal #5 True Grit (BSR)

The most important scene for me is when in some since just solidifies Mattie as just the annoying person in the background but it also shows the value of her. This scene is just after she saves LaBoeuf she shots Chaney getting her revenge on the man who killed her father but intern she falls down the into the pit with all the snakes and is bitten by one as Rooster is saving her.

Realism VS Antirealism

Realism is trying to get your film as real as possible whether it is making people die when they get shot or the chase seen being as real as possible. As in most of your war movies people can’t dodge bullets or be shot 100 of times without dying that is realism.
