That’s Why I Pray Big and Rich
War is the answer Five Finger Death Punch
Country Must Be Country Wide Brantley Gilbert
Landing In London 3 Doors Down
Enemies Shinedown
Simple Man Shinedown
These songs
are Important to me because they are not only from my favorite artists but they
also show who I am on the insides and what you can’t see from the outside. My
playlists shows that I am a God fearing man from the country who is simple and
yet has a dark side with some enemies out there. Listening to my playlists you
can’t pick up that I am protective of my family and that violence is not my
first choice to resolve problems. Some people may think that I am a very dark
person who has issues do to most of the music is rock or thrash ( scream o).
My playlists
shows that I am very connected but not always aware of the fact that I am
connected to something larger than me. “War is the answer” shows that me being
connected to something larger is not always what I have on my mind sometimes it
is me looking out for myself and my family.
Tommy, even though our music selection differs i still enjoyed listening to the songs you have chosen. I don't know you to well personally but by the emotion you show in your writing i can tell that these songs all mean something to you. I read in a few spots on your blog that you are very family oriented and that family comes first. I really enjoy seeing that side from you and it lets people that don't know you that well relate to and understand what you care about most. You also mention in your post that you're a "God fearing man" which intrigues me. Could you please elaborate on this a little more.
ReplyDeleteTommy, you have a different mix of rock/metal and country. It's unique mix of songs, most I haven't heard personally but I'm open to listening to new music. I noticed that you are from a small town, this could be why you like country music. Five Finger Death Punch is a good band that I like to listent too as well. I feel like they are just like you when it comes to family first. Hope to discuss them with you in class.
